BrainBolt collects only the minimum information necessary to operate:

• TikTok OAuth tokens: Used solely to authenticate and publish video content to your TikTok account. Stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
• No personal data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information from TikTok users.

2. How We Use Information

The OAuth access token obtained via TikTok login is used exclusively to:

• Upload video content to the authorized TikTok account via the Content Posting API.
• Refresh the access token when it expires.

We do not use this information for any other purpose, including advertising, profiling, or analytics.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties. BrainBolt does not have external servers — all data remains local to your machine.

4. TikTok API Data

BrainBolt uses the TikTok Content Posting API. By authorizing BrainBolt, you grant us permission to post videos on your behalf. We do not access your followers, messages, profile data, or any other TikTok account information beyond what is required for content posting.

5. Data Retention

OAuth tokens are stored locally and can be deleted at any time by revoking access in your TikTok account settings or by deleting the local token file.

6. Children's Privacy

BrainBolt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
